Create and report on Google Ads location targets

Location targets can help you to improve your ROI by displaying your ads to customers in the areas where you do business or where your business is physically located, and not displaying your ads in areas that aren’t relevant to your business. For example, if your primary customers are in the eastern United States, but not in Washington, DC,  you can specifically target your ads to the eastern states and exclude Washington, DC.
