Time/User column

Change history

Displays the date and time a change was made.  The column also includes email address of the person who initiated the change in the account. For example,

May 21, 2016, 1:26:17 PM
example.name@example.com

An email address is shown for changes made by using the user interface, a bulksheet or bulk operations, and scheduled edits. If an automated system such as sync made the change, the user section of the column is empty.

You can use the column to sort the list of changes. You can also filter the change history report by the user email addresses shown in this column.

Timestamps reported for syncs in change history indicate the time that the sync started. Even though syncs occur over more than a few minutes, the timestamp is not updated to indicate when the sync completed. 

View this column in the change history report

  1. Navigate to an advertiser, account, campaign, ad group, bid strategy, or label.
  2. Select a time range on or after May 21, 2016 in the upper right corner.
  3. In the left navigation panel, click Change history.
  4. Optional: Click the column header to sort the report.
