View a change history report

The change history report displays information about changes that are made to and by DoubleClick Search entities. If you're scoped to an advertiser, change history lists page after page of every change made to the advertiser's accounts, campaigns, ad groups, keywords, ads, bid strategies, bid adjustments, sitelinks, and labels.  To view changes that occurred at a lower scope, for example a campaign, navigate to the lower scope and then view the change history.

The change history report lists changes made on or after 12 AM on May 21, 2016. 

View change history 

  1. Navigate to an advertiser.

  2. In the left navigation panel, click Change history.

    The report lists every change that occurred at the advertiser scope and lower.

  3. Select a time range on or after May 21, 2016 in the upper right corner.
  4. Click the more icon Expander (or more) icon at the end of the navigation bar to display the navigation options.

    Click the exander button to open the navigation bar.

  5. To scope the report, navigate to an account, campaign, or ad group.

    The report lists changes at the selected scope and lower.

  6. Optional. Do any of the following:

    • Filter the data in the change history report.
    • Add or remove columns from the change history report.  Learn more about change history columns.
    • Click the Time/User column heading to sort the list from most recent to oldest changes within the selected time range.
    • Click the download icon Download icon to download or email the change history report in a non-editable format.

 

View change history after scoping a report

  1. Navigate to an advertiser, account, campaign, ad group, bid strategy, or label.
  2. Select a time range on or after May 21, 2016 in the upper right corner.
  3. In the left navigation panel, click Change history.

    Changes that occurred in the selected scope and lower are displayed.

  4. Optional. Do any of the following:

    • Filter the data in the change history report.
    • Add or remove columns from the change history report.  Learn more about change history columns.
    • Click the Time/User column heading to sort the list from most recent to oldest changes within the selected time range.
    • Click the download icon Download icon to download or email the change history report in a non-editable format.
A filter is automatically applied when scoped to a bid strategy or labels.
