Use Google Ads remarketing lists in Search Ads 360

View and apply the Search Ads 360 bid strategy's recommended Google Ads remarketing target bid adjustment

If a Search Ads 360 bid strategy is only recommending remarketing target bid adjustments, you can compare the bid strategy’s recommended bid adjustment with the current bid adjustment. Optionally, you can change the current bid adjustment to match the recommendation.

A Search Ads 360 bid strategy will only set or recommend remarketing target bid adjustments for Google Ads remarketing targets.

  1. Navigate to a Google Ads engine account, campaign, or ad group.

    Steps for navigating to an engine account
    1. In the left navigation panel, click All accounts.
      What if the left navigation pane isn't visible?

    2. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

    3. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    4. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser that contains the engine account.

    5. In the "Account" list, click on the engine account.

    6. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

    Steps for navigating to a campaign
    1. In the left navigation panel, click All accounts.

    3. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    4. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser that contains the engine account.

    5. In the "Account" list, click on the engine account that contains the campaign.
    6. In the "Campaign" list, click on the campaign.

    7. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

    Steps for navigating to an ad group
    1. In the left navigation panel, click All accounts.

    2. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

    3. In the "Agency" list, click the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    4. In the "Advertiser" list, click the advertiser that contains the engine account.

    5. In the "Account" list, click the engine account that contains the campaign.

    6. In the "Campaign" list, click the campaign that contains the ad group.

    7. In the "Ad group" list, click the ad group.

    8. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

  2. Click the Targets ▼ tab and select Remarketing targets.
  3. Click the Campaign remarketing targets or the Ad group remarketing targets tab.
  4. To use the Search Ads 360 bid strategy recommendation, in the Bid adjustment % column, hover over the setting, and then click the pencil icon  .
  5. Type the recommended bid adjustment %, and then click Save.

  1. Navigate to an advertiser.

    Steps for navigating to an advertiser
    1. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

    2. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    3. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser.

    4. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

    Search Ads 360 displays the advertiser page, which contains data for all of the advertiser’s engine accounts.

  2. In the left navigation panel, click Bid strategies.
    Hover on the name of a bid strategy to display a card that lists the bid strategy's settings. The selected bid strategy in the following image is only recommending remarketing target bid adjustments, indicated by a gray check mark icon  .

  3. To view the Google Ads remarketing targets included in a bid strategy with a conversions, revenue, or advanced targeting goal, in the Bid strategy column, click the name of the strategy.
  4. Above the performance summary graph, click the Targets ▼ tab and select Remarketing targets.
  5. In each row, compare the set bid adjustment percentage with the recommended bid adjustment percentage.
  6. Optional. Change the bid adjustment percentage to match the bid strategy’s recommendation:

    1. In the Bid adjustment % column, hover over the setting, and then click the pencil icon .
    2. Type the recommended bid adjustment %, and then click Save.
To quickly change the bid strategy setting to allow it to automatically set bid adjustments, click Change bid strategy setting in the status bar above the reporting table. In the prompt that appears, click Yes, I understand. The bid strategy will now automatically set the bid adjustments for all Google Ads remarketing targets managed by the bid strategy. The bid strategy may take more than 24 hours to change the bid adjustment percentage.

 

Even though a Search Ads 360 bid strategy can use Google Analytics or Floodlight conversions to set or recommend  remarketing target bid adjustments, Search Ads 360 remarketing target reports will only include metrics for Floodlight conversions. Reporting on remarketing targets with Google Analytics isn't supported.
