Welcome to the help center for DoubleClick Search, a platform for managing search marketing campaigns.  While the help center is available to the public, access to the DoubleClick Search product is available only to subscribing customers who are signed in. To subscribe or find out more, contact our sales team.

Authorization status column

Displays the following authorization status information for supported engines.

(Social engines only)
DS is setting up the account internally.

If you still see this status a day or two after creating the DS social engine account, contact DS support.
Waiting for traffic (Social engines only)
DS is waiting for a click on a social ad so it can confirm that reporting data is flowing into DS.
Wait for a click


All supported engines

For search engines:
Indicates that the engine account is successfully associated with DoubleClick Search.

For social engines:

This status appears after either of the following has occurred:

  • DS has successfully received visits and can now track conversions using Floodlight activities.
  • You're using a PMD, and the PMD has verified it is now connected to your DS account. Not all PMDs send this verification. If you see this status and you haven't yet applied DS tracking URLs to your account, reach out to your PMD to see if they've sent a verification visit to DS.

Invalid credentials

  • AdWords
  • Bing Ads
  • Yahoo! Japan
  • Baidu
  • Yahoo! Gemini
Indicates that the engine account should be linked to DoubleClick Search.
  • AdWords
    Link the AdWords customer ID to the MCC account for DoubleClick Search.

  • Bing Ads
    Sign in to Bing Ads to verify that the credentials are correct and verify that DoubleClick Search can use the credentials.

  • Yahoo! Japan and Baidu
    Sign in to the engine to verify that the credentials are correct.

  • Yahoo! Gemini 
    Sign in to the engine to verify that the credentials are correct and then authorize the account in DoubleClick Search.

OAuth authorization needed

Bing Ads only

Indicates that DoubleClick Search must be authorized to access your Bing Ads account. Sign in to Bing Ads to verify that the credentials are correct and that DoubleClick Search can use the credentials to authorize the account..
View this column in a report
  1. Navigate to an advertiser.
  2. Click the Engine accounts tab.

    The column is displayed in the reporting table when scoped to an advertiser.

  3. If the column isn't already in the reporting table:

    1. Click the Columns button above the performance summary graph.

    2. Type the column name in the search box.

    3. Click + next to the column name to add the column to the Selected columns list.
