Filter by target in Floodlight tag bid strategy reporting

You can filter data in a report to see only the keywords that are in a Floodlight tag bid strategy and have either a CPA or ERS target. With this feature, you don't need to sift through rows of irrelevant Floodlight tags that you haven't set a target against.

Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to a bid strategy that optimizes to a Floodlight tag.
    The keywords in the bid strategy appear in the table.

    Steps for navigating to a bid strategy
    1. Navigate to an advertiser.

    2. In the left navigation pane, click Bid strategies.

    3. Click a bid strategy name from the reporting table.
      Alternatively, you can do the following:

      1. Click ▼ at the end of the navigation bar to display navigation options.

      2. In the Agency list, click on the agency that contains the bid strategy. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

      3. In the Advertiser list, click on the advertiser that contains the bid strategy.

      4. In the Bid strategy list, click on the bid strategy.

      5. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

    DoubleClick Search displays the bid strategy page.

  2. In the toolbar above the performance summary graph, click Columns and add Floodlight Activity Target.
    The columnn appears in your report.

  3. Change the view or customize other columns as needed to see the desired columns in your report.
    To select a Floodlight segmentation option, you need to have a report with some action, transaction, or revenue columns.

  4. Click the Segment button and select the Floodlight activity option.

  5. Click the Filter button.
    The Filter panel appears.

  6. Click + attribute or metric, select Floodlight activity target, and select the targets you want to see in the report.

  7. Save the view if desired.
