Example 2: Create an inclusion instruction for an activity group

An auto company has several hundred Floodlight activities on Campaign Manager 360, but is only interested in reporting on Request a quote for Search Ads 360. The company can set up a Floodlight instruction to include the Floodlight activity group that contains the related Request a quote Floodlight activities. Campaign Manager 360 will continue to report on all Floodlight activities for the advertiser, but Search Ads 360 will only report on the Request a quote Floodlight activity group.

Follow these steps to include the Request a quote Floodlight activity group and exclude all others in the advertiser:

1. Navigate to an advertiser.

   1. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

   2. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

   3. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser.

   4. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

   Search Ads 360 displays the advertiser page, which contains data for all of the advertiser’s engine accounts.

2. In the left navigation panel, click Advertiser settings.
   
   Don't see Advertiser settings? Only Search Ads 360 agency managers or advertiser managers can see Advertiser settings in the left navigation panel. 

3. Click the Floodlight▼ tab and select Floodlight instructions.
   The current Floodlight instructions for the advertiser appear.

4. Create an instruction to exclude all Floodlight activities:

   1. Click + Floodlight instruction, which appears above the reporting table.

   2. From the Apply instruction to list, select All Floodlight activities.

   3. From the Floodlight instruction type list, select Inclusion status.

   4. Select the Exclude option.

   5. Click Save.

5. Create an instruction to include the Request a quote Floodlight activity group:

   1. Click + Floodlight instruction, which appears above the reporting table.

   2. From the Apply instruction to list, select Floodlight activity group.

   3. In the box that appears, select the Request a quote Floodlight activity.

   4. From the Floodlight instruction type list, select Inclusion status.

   5. Select the Include option.

   6. Click Save.
