Hi, Commenters can comment on folders etc. in a shared drive. How? Can they type in a file?

Question

I want to find out is using Workspace wil work for me.  If I create a shared drive for a group of people and I give them commenter access, what shape does commenting take?  Google does not explain HOW people can comment.  I would like them to be able to type into a document  without being able to share or download it, but can they do that?

Commenters can't comment on a folder. If you give someone comment access to a document, they can leave a comment in the document. If you don't want commenters to see the options to download, print, or copy the file, you can make that change in the settings of the share box.
