Are you still experiencing issues with Google Drive? I can see all the files in the Drive using Chrome or Safaru but I get an error message "Cannot open or download" / "Failed to open" when I try to access a file. I am using the free Google Drive version in the UK. Thanks

Hi,

I tried but it doesn't solve the issue. I use it all the times and I only experienced this since earlier today. I saw that you had an outage but things should be back online. I can see the Drive OK and all the documents. The problem happens when I try to load a document i.e. I get an error message e.g. ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT in Chrome. I have cleared the cache of the browsers and tried both Safari and Chrome. I only have this issue on my Mac (Catalina). I can retrieve the docs on my iPad using the same internet connection.

Do you still have outages? There seem to be some reports of the same issues in the UK (where I am based).

Hi,

I just tried on a completely different Mac (which I use frequently) and exactly the same issue i.e. the documents don't download.

Are you 100% sure that the outage has been completely resolved? It doesn't look like it.

@MH_C, If you are still facing this situation I doubt its related to the recent outage, can you please
create your own thread with spefici details such as Browser & version and your operating system.
