How to export Google Drive Realtime files ? 0 Recommended Answers 23 Replies 44 Upvotes
Hello,
I have files on my Drive created by an app (MindMup) that used the now depreciated Realtime API.
I wasn't aware of the depreciation and now I can't access my own files :
* In the Drive web ui, there's no "download" action
* the MindMup app says I have to ask for Google to export me the realtime data, so far I couldn't manage to get a positive answer about this ("we can't access your files", "they're encrypted", "we don't support 3rd party app")
* the blog post (https://gsuiteupdates.googleblog.com/2017/11/committed-to-storage-apis-retiring.html) about the depreciation says there will be a realtime export api, I couln't find it, does it exists ?
* I tried to play with the (now undocumented; thanks internet archives ..) drive.realtime.get API, but it returns me 503 errors (HttpError 503 when requesting https://www.googleapis.com/drive/v2/files/0B63FLnZ.....FdjZGY1eWs/realtime? returned "Backend Error")
* I tried to use Takeout on the Drive folder, but theses files are not present
* all links about "realtime api" are 404'ing (documentation, migration, depreciation, ...)
How am I supposed to get my files back ?
How am I supposed to trust Google when I can't even access my own files ?
Can someone help me ?
Best,
Alexandre
