Synchronization error, please try again later on Docs Android app

Intermittently but frequently getting the "Synchronization error. Please try again later." pop up over the keyboard in the Android app since the last update. Not sure if it was Docs or Drive having/causing this issue.

Docs do seem to be synching across devices with my changes, but it's near impossible to type/edit when the pop-ups decide to pop up.
Have tried the common sense fixes many app reviewers tried and complained fruitlessly about, (clearing app cache, verifying sync is on, app up to date, rebooted device, verified wifi working, uninstall/reinstall-rebooting between these too)  also to no avail for me.

I have the same settings toggled since my initial install on this device with strong/fast WiFi service which has until now worked flawlessly FOR TWO YEARS.

I'm nowhere near any known data limits for any Gservice I use or the Doc length limits with known issues.

I don't know the cause, but I'm reasonably certain it isn't at my end. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Never encountered anything like this prior to the most recent updates. Docs updated on 6 August 2022, Drive updated 15 August 2022.

I have already. The ball is in Google's possession. They have 7 days, reguardless if they choose to acknowledge or ignore my concerns.
This should be an eye opener for the users on how Google will be handling business as the organization expands.

This has been constant for me, which is annoying as I rely on gdocs a lot.
I've experienced lots of sync errors as well to the point where i thought turning off local downloads would help, despite unlimited, very fast internet.

- Also android
- latest app version
- galaxy s21, latest update
- WiFi and cellular (5G/4G)

How do you transfer the docs to another Google account? I am a novice. Thanks.

Go into the android settings of the app and clear cache and data. As far as I can tell it's fine being a cloud based service and I no longer get the message

I've also been getting this error on Google Sheets ever since i moved to my Pixel 6a. I never got this error on my 3a XL so i assumed it was just due to how my new phone setup. but after several factory resets for unrelated reasons and flashing my phone to Android 13 much later, I've continued getting these errors no matter how many times my phone has been setup through multiple conditions.
Kinda annoying but thankfully it's not popping up on top of my keyboard randomly like what others are reporting.
the error is not very consistent, but basically if i do any edit or new field entry on google sheets for the first time after opening a sheet, I'll get the error notification with the google sheets logo. this happens on new or old sheets. I won't get the error as i continue working on the sheet, but if i stop doing edits after a while, I'll get the error when i come back and do any changes.

my attached screenshot is of my movie watchlist i use in google sheets. i finally got it to trigger the error when i deleted a field.

I am having the same issue.

Over a month since this issue first occurred. I did nothing more from my end to fix it, except accept additional Google Docs/Drive/Slides/Sheets etc. app updates in the interim and it miraculously resolved after the most recent ones.

AFAIK this error had nothing to do with being on the latest Android version.

Wish this issue had been taken seriously sooner, I lost a whole month of productivity.

Hope everyone's sync issues across these Google apps gets resolved.
