why does "A synced folder is missing" dialog box come up every day eventhough I set the folder?

A synced folder is missing dialog box comes up every day for Desktop, documents and pictures. I point it to the respective folders and the next day the same things is asked?  why does it keep losing its mapping? didn't used to happen before.  been happening for about a month now. can find a resolution

Hi,
 
We will need a lot more detail than that. Have you made any customisation, are you on a network, have you migrated to Drive for desktop, are you using the standard libraries in their default locations.
 
A screenshot of the error report might help.

Hi, thanks for your reply, unfortunately there is nothing to really screenshot.  I get the basic dialog box come up every morning asking to be mapped.  the folder location is not changing so I'm not sure why syncing would be impacted and required to reconnect.  I have made some customizations to my desktop, moving my documents and pictures folder to a second drive (D:) for space/storage purposes. But, again, I don't understand why, if I explicitly point to the folder that it would break that link each day...  I'm not sure where I would find the error report.  it's just asking for the location. not an error.

It sounds like it is defaulting to the C drive on start up. If you chose the library on setup, could you try re-adding one of the choices by browsing to the actual folder on the D drive. Or resetting the smallest library back to it's default to prove if it's the relocation which is causing the problem.
 
Either way, I don't think I will be able to get any action so might have to refer you to Drive support.
