Android Instant Upload to Drive

I would much rather have the option to auto-upload pictures from my phone to my Drive than to G+

Most photos are not keepers and having them stored in G+ is not ideal. I'd like to not have to worry about losing my pics, but I also want to be able to curate albums before sharing on G+.

How soon can I expect a working version of this?

Actually if your going to go that far,

Why not just integrate Picasa Web / G+ / Drive?

Make all your pictures accessible from one location...

I agree, this would be a great feature

This would be great, but similar to iCloud I think that photos and videos that are instantly uploaded should not come out of out 5GB quota - rather out of whatever allowance we have with G+ and/or Picasa.

Like a shortcut to G+/Picasa photos through a folder on Drive, but viewable on drive

many devices give you space whe you purchase them. but it would be nice if once you linked it to your phone you got extra space of say 10gb then certain phones (e.g. Moto X, Nexus) will give like 50gbs.
