How to disable Google Drive Preview / Viewer - ugh!

This update is terrible. Sorry. Please post instructions on how to disable the viewer and have the files, regardless of format, opening in a new window. I've got a Chromebook, in fact. Some support, please. Thanks! Waiting...

Hey Google add me to this list... This is a completely useless feature. It just adds additional mouse clicks for me to be productive. Please add an option to disable, immediately!

How is there not a way to disable this awful awfulness? I know what my documents are, when I click on them I want to open them.

It only works for that one image and my users are not going to remember to hold down the crtl and click. Can't Google just enable a setting so we can choose to enable the preview or not?????? Please!?!?!?!

At last Google has heard us and sent someone (with a crash helmet!) to help. Thanks Abbey - you should get a promotion.

If Help -> Send Feedback is more likely to get noticed, then I will use that in future.

I've posted my feedback on this, I suggest everyone else does the same.

Levels

Member levels indicate a user's level of participation in a forum. The greater the participation, the higher the level. Everyone starts at level 1 and can rise to level 10. These activities can increase your level in a forum:

  • Post an answer.
  • Having your answer selected as the best answer.
  • Having your post rated as helpful.
  • Vote up a post.
  • Correctly mark a topic or post as abuse.

Having a post marked and removed as abuse will slow a user's advance in levels.
