LG G4 100gb offer

I just bought an LG G4 and tried to activate the 2yr 100gb offer but got the following error which said "this offer cannot be redeemed because of a system error. Please update Google Drive and try again. --404"

How can I get the offer? I've read help forums and tried numerous things none of which have worked.

Hi Peter,

The offer redemption server may be down temporarily, or you might not be connected to the internet. You can try again later by coming back to the Google Drive application and selecting the “Product Tour” menu item.

If you are still experiencing issues, please reach out to the device manufacturer.

I have the same issue. Making the product tour once again didn't work.

Do you have any suggestions?

Hi Moritz,

I would recommend contacting the device manufacturer as they have the right tools in verifying the promotional offer associated with your device.

I hope this helps.

I'll be happy to hear too.  Having the same problem.  Can't even see the offer anymore.  I already had a 100GB plan paid for.  I wanted to know if the offer adds up to what I had or not. If not, I wanted to use it in a second account I have.  Until I could figure it out, the offer disappeared on me.  BTW, there is another posting with a similar issue...

Hi Stoyan,

Thanks for asking. Since it was LG who offered to provide the 100GB promotion, it means that they have associated the offer thru the device's unique identifier. Google Drive, being a sole online storage cloud, does not have the right tools in checking for this indentifier as Google did not even manufacture the device itself.

I strongly suggest you reach out to the LG Offers Team to be able to assist you thru with this.
