If you're tired of typing long formulas, or you don't remember the exact syntax, you can use the auto-complete feature. Enter the first few characters of the formula you want to use, and a list of relevant formulas automatically appears below the cell you're typing in. When you hover over the formula name and syntax, you'll see a tooltip that contains the syntax, a description of the formula, and a link to the full list of functions. To use a formula, select it from the list and enter the desired values.
Additionally, for some formulas, auto-complete selects values based on the data in your spreadsheet. In this example, auto-complete is adding the following text from the spreadsheet: 'settlement,' 'maturity,' and 'frequency.'
