Fix payment issues with Google Drive

If you tried to buy Google Drive storage and your payment didn't go through, try these steps.

Fix a declined payment
  1. Sign into Google Payments.
  2. Click Update payment method information.
  3. Choose a payment method.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Fill out new payment method.

Update or add payment information

If you recently activated a new credit card, you may have to update the information on your account.

  1. Go to Google Payments.
  2. Click Payment methods.
  3. Next to the card you want to edit, click Edit.
  4. Enter the expiration date and CVC found on the card.
  5. Make sure your billing address is correct.
  6. Click Save.

Add another payment method

  1. Sign in to Google Payments.
  2. Click Payment methods.
  3. Click Add payment method.
  4. Choose a payment method:
    • Add new credit or debit card
    • Add a bank account
  5. Follow the steps to add your payment method.
Contact your credit card provider

If your credit card information is correct but your payment won't go through, contact your credit card provider.

They may have more information on why your credit card can't be charged.
