Change your card & fix payment issues

If you have issues with Google One payments, try these solutions. You can also update your Google One payment methods.

Change the card you use

You can edit the credit card you use for your Google One membership. If you want to change how much you pay, change your storage plan.

  1. On your computer, go to Google One.
  2. Click Settings Settings.
  3. Click Change payment method.
  4. In Google Play, on the left, click My subscriptions.
  5. Next to "Google One," click Manage.
  6. Next to "Primary payment method," click Update.
  7. Select an option and follow the steps on the screen.

Fix issues with payments

If you find errors when you make transactions, try these troubleshooting steps.

Fix a declined payment

 

  1. Sign in to Google Pay.
  2. Click Update payment method information.
  3. Choose a payment method.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Fill out new payment method.
Change, update, or add payment method

If you recently added a new credit card, you may have to update the information on your account.

  1. Go to Google Pay.
  2. Click Payment methods.
  3. Next to the card you want to edit, click Edit.
  4. Enter the expiration date and CVC found on the card.
  5. Make sure your billing address is correct.
  6. Click Save.

Add another payment method

  1. Sign in to Google Pay.
  2. Click Payment methods.
  3. Click Add payment method.
  4. Choose a payment method:
    • Add new credit or debit card
    • Add a bank account
  5. Follow the steps to add your payment method.
Make sure your payment method is supported
Contact your credit card provider

If your credit card information is correct but your payment won't go through, contact your credit card provider.

They may have more information on why your credit card can't be charged.

Find purchases by family members
