How to resolve email forwarding issues

When a Google Workspace account is created, users in your network might experience issues while signing in to Google Ad Manager because of conflicting personal and organisation accounts. For these users, an administrator will notice that an @gtempaccount.com email address is listed, replacing the email address previously associated with these users. For example, where you used to see myname@mycompany.com, you will now see myname%mycompany@gtempaccount.com instead.

To resolve this issue, each affected user must follow the steps below to merge the conflicting accounts:

  1. Sign in at myaccount.google.com with the @gtempaccount address (using their usual password).
  2. At the 'An update to your account is required' screen, select Migrate to continue using the organisation account.

After the migration is complete, the user should be set to sign in to Google Ad Manager with their usual email address.

If a user encounters any issues with this process, they can choose the Rename option in step 2, associate the @gtempaccount.com address to a different email (either Gmail or non-Google) and then add the newly associated email address as an 'Alternate email' to their corporate Google account.
