With Email forwarding, why do I not receive test emails?

If you send test emails directly from the 'Recipient Email Address', many email clients (such as Gmail) will only put those message into your Sent mail folder, and the message will not show in your Inbox. So please try to send your test emails from a different address, not your 'Recipient Email Address'.

For example, if you created an alias bob@mydomain.com that forwards to bob.personal@gmail.com, try sending an email to bob@mydomain.com from a third email address (but not bob.personal@gmail.com).
