Pause your Google Workspace subscription

When you pause your Google Workspace subscription, billing immediately stops. All data is retained, but users won't have access to services, documents, or email. Collaborators outside your domain can still access shared documents and files.

Pausing your Google Workspace subscription does not affect your Google Domains service.

You can also cancel and delete your Google Workspace account, permanently deleting your users’ mail, contacts, documents, and other data.

1. Sign in to Google Domains.
2. Select your domain.
3. Open the Menu . 
4. Click Email.
5. Next to "Add or remove people from Google Workspace," click Manage subscription.
6. Next to "Suspend subscription," click Suspend.
7. In the dialog box, confirm your subscription suspension.

Reactivate Google Workspace

If you reactivate your subscription, we bill you for Google Workspace services from your last billing date to the date when you paused service. You must pay this balance to reactivate your account.

1. Sign in to Google Domains.
2. Select your domain.
3. Open the Menu . 
4. Click Email.
5. Next to "Add or remove people from Google Workspace," click Manage subscription.
6. Next to "Reactivate subscription," click Reactivate.
7. Follow the steps to reactivate your account.

The day you reactivate your subscription becomes your new monthly billing date.
