View columns details even when scrolling along.

I have made a spreadsheet for a rota that we all follow, and it stretches along to a new day via the columns. However, the names of the people in the rota are also in a column, so as you scroll along, the names become hidden. I have provided a copy of the rota here with a link that anyone can edit. I described what I was hoping for in the spreadsheet, but I pictured either renaming the number column at the start or pinning the first column I have used. Unsure if either is possible, but if anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated. I have included a picture from the Windows desktop app, but I would mostly be viewing from my iOS device (that's why I submitted it under the iOS category)

Thanks!

Hi, Declan,

All I did was to freeze column A

Now as you scroll column A will be displayed at all times.

All I did was to click on the column identifier, in this case, A to select column A.

Then from the Menu I selected

View>Freeze>1 Column

Hope this helps,

Declan,

I don't have an Apple device but I have a feeling it would be the same steps as those on an Android device.

Click the A from column A to select Column A

Then tap anywhere in the blue selection of column A and a menu will pop up.
Click the 3 dots on the right of the menu and select Freeze

Now you will be able to scroll and column A will be there at all times.

Hope this helps,
