Set default sheet when opening Google Workbook
You can reset the default sheet where you want your workbook to open by selecting it/putting cursor there and updating your bookmark link.
As others said, this should be fixed. For example, by providing an option in View to select the default sheet/tab. Otherwise, I believe that everyone else who uses the sheet will have the same problem until they update their own bookmarks.

Sheets always default to the first sheet. Each sheet has its own link by the gid after /edit#. So when you update the bookmark, it's because the link is slightly different.
