Can't see track changes when importing from Microsoft Word

I have imported a word document (.docx) that was originally made in google docs. Then a collaborator downloaded it to .docx, and added more track changes to it.

When I uploaded it back to my google drive I was able to see the changes but not to edit them. I.e. things that he suggested deletion were with strike line, things that were suggested addition were in different shade of font, but non of them had the option of accept/reject and no comments were shown also (although the document included many).

Refreshing the page didn't help. I also tried to use Chromium (and not google chrome) - but with no success.

I use Ubuntu 18.04 as my OS, on Dell XPS 9300.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You're quite welcome. I hope it will be fixed soon, too! The help communities are managed by volunteer product users (not Google employees), so we are experiencing this issue the same as you are. :)
