How can i access and edit google docs and sheets from my kindle fire?

Seems like this should be easy but not. I downloaded google docs. But it is completely empty although I have signed in to my account.

I think Kindle is owned by Amazon who view Google as a big rival, so they don't play nicely together.
I'm afriad you may not be able to make this work (but please post back if you find a way).

I was able to access the web version of Docs on the Silk browser. Just go to the website, tap the triple dots, then Desktop Site. It's a bit slow, but you'll be able to access and edit your documents without much issue.
