Hi, Kerri,
You can upload your image to Google Drawings (drawings.google.com). When it's there, click on it to select it and go to Arrange > Rotate > Flip horizontal. You can then print it from the Drawings app.

Can you provide a screen shot of the image? Was the image created in the drawing feature in Docs or in Google Drawings (drawings.google.com)?

Hi, Abby,
Only images, not text boxes, can be flipped horizontally in Docs at this time. To help influence future feature changes or additions in Docs, I encourage you to provide feedback about this directly to the Docs team by following these steps:
- Open a document.
- Click Help > Report a problem.
- Enter your feedback.
Although the product team is unable to respond to individual users directly, they review this feedback regularly and use it to help improve the product over time. Google doesn't check the help forums for user feedback, so it's important that you use the in-product tool. The more users who request this capability via in-product feedback, the greater the chances are of the team considering it.

Hi, Grace,
You said: "It only flips vertically and not horizontally." It don't know what "it" is that you are referring to. If you are referring to a text box, as I noted above, only image files (not text boxes) can be flipped horizontally at this time.
If you are referring to something other than a text box, please let me know.
