When I try to open any Google sheets in Chrome I get the message 'Still loading' and it never finishes loading. I cannot navigate through the document. I get an error message which tells me to clear my cookies and cache. I have already done that twice. Still same problem.

I tried loading in Internet Explorer. It works fine. But I don't want to have to also sign into my google account in IE and use two browsers.

What else can I do to get sheets to load in Chrome.

If the sheet opens in another browser on the same machine, then it's not the sheet, it's likely a problem with either a browser extension or hardware acceleration. 
 
First, check Chrome for updates.
 
To manage Extensions: Disable all extensions from the browser.
 
To turn off Hardware Acceleration:
Chrome> 3-dots menu >Settings > Advanced > System > Hardware acceleration

Hi, I have cleared cache and history (all time), disabled all extensions, and turned off Hardware Acceleration and my Google Sheet continues to say 'Still Loading'.

Is there a real fix here?

Hello (I didn't get your name)

Hard to say why your sheet won't load. Some possible reasons include; the sheet is over the 5-million cell limit, or, there are many importRange() formulas installed that are waiting on other sheets to calculate or load, or that the sheet you're trying to open is being accessed by a large number of other sheets and users (over 500 entities)

I don't know what strategies might be for recovery. If the sheet is too large, I don't know. I do wish Google would put up a warning as the sheet grows in size. If you've published a link to your sheet on the web and it's serving as a data source for large numbers of users, you can take the link down, or try to change sharing from Google drive (without opening the sheet). If your sheet is loaded with ImportRange formulas, look at some of the source files and try to reduce the size, like, delete empty rows.

These are all guesses. Maybe Google is having a server issue. But your post just now was preceded by a similar post about 3 weeks ago, indicating that this is not a widespread server issue. 

There's not much more I can add, but if you describe your sheet, I'll be happy to respond.

The only extension I have is Google offline and I do not know how to remove and reinstall that.
