superscript letters in google sheet

I am trying to type letters in superscript in a spread sheet. I found a this suggestion - outline characters and type shift - control- and plus sign at the same time but that is not working. I have also found a solution for superscripting numbers but not letters. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks!

Hi Catharine,

Google Sheets does not have a text format for superscripts.

You can get superscripted Unicode letters like ᴴᵉˡˡᵒ ᵗᵉˣᵗ ˢᵗʳᶦⁿᵍ ᵐʸ ᵒˡᵈ ᶠʳᶦᵉⁿᵈ by copy-pasting them from another source such as yaytext.
