Are all (!) the fonts that are naturally included in Google Docs free for commercial use?

The most fonts in google docs can be found and downloaded from "google fonts", which states that these fonts can be used for commercial purposes. However the standard version of google docs also comes with Arial and Times New Roman which are not available on google fonts and therefore I assume that the terms of use are different for these two fonts.

So my question is: With what kind of license do these other two fonts, already embedded in google docs, come? personal, commercial or both?

Microsoft say that "Unless you are using an application that is specifically licensed for home, student, or non-commercial use" they do not place any restrictions on the use of their fonts.

What this means is that if you have a commercial software license, then you can use the fonts for commercial purposes.

See documentation:

Thank you for your Relpy!

I understand now how it works with a Microsoft Office programm, thank you!

But, on my android phone I have the google docs app with the font Arial and no Microsoft application or software whatsoever. So I'm assuming that google docs is providing me with this font, as I have no Microsoft Office (Professional, Student, Home) on my phone.

What license does google docs have for this font? What license does google give to the user?

While using Arial in a Google Doc for your own use you do not need a license, however if you plan to use the font for commercial purposes then you need to purchase a commercial license from Monotype.

This is already documented in the fonts.com links i gave above.
