How to stop the annoying Heads up! pop up when adding to google sheets.

You will only see that when the Sheet or cells on the sheet are protected. To remove it, go to the Data menu and it will open a side bar (probably trying to create a new one so you'll need to cancel). Then you should see a list of protected ranges that you can edit or remove as necessary.
