shirishGoogle docs offline and Mozilla Firefox
1 Recommended AnswerHi all,
Is there a way to use Google docs offline under Mozilla Firefox ? I saw the support doc about google doc offline http://support.google.com/docs/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1628469 but have unable to view the setting for google docs offline within the documents settings anywhere. Can anybody help ?
Another thing, does anybody know of a google docs synchronization software under GNU/Linux ? I saw an article of tools under MS Windows http://www.thespicygadgematics.com/2011/10/how-to-sync-google-docs-with-ms-office.html but not under GNU/Linux.

Google userI'm sure you all know Dropbox.
My question is simple. I am looking for the Dropbox functionality associated with Google Docs. A main folder shared on the cloud and sync automatically.
The advantage is the ability to work offline. You modify the documents and then it is synchronized automatically once you are online again.
Is there such thing existing somewhere?
Thank you

dziegmanThis is not exactly what you are asking for, but it does offer some of the features... does this work for you? Read a little about it...
Hope this helps!

Google userYes I know Google Cloud Connect and I forgot to say that I work on mac (sorry).
Cloud Connect is exactly what I need. If someone knows something equivalent that could fit.... I thank you in advance.
I found Box in Apps Store but still not tried... will see

4lifemediaIf you haven't found a solution yet here is one that works well. http://insynchq.com. It syncs docs to your computer, it's not perfect, but it does a good job.
