Feedback and feature requests for Google Keep

Hi everyone!

You've probably reached this discussion because you've posted feedback on Google Keep in the Google Drive forum. Thanks! You can continue to discuss the features you'd like to see in Google Keep on this thread, but keep in mind that the best way to send feedback directly to the Google Keep team is to select "Feedback" from the menu option in Keep (usually three horizontal lines, depending on the device you're on) and send your idea. Here's what it looks like at keep.google.com:

This feedback goes directly to the technical team - The more people who send feedback on a feature, the better!

Thanks again!

Cheers,
Abby

But in the Google Keep app (Mac OS X 10.8, Keep version -- well, "About Google Keep" is greyed out so I can't report that), there *is* no such option in the menus. When I reported that, it was marked as a duplicate of this topic for some reason, though it kind of contradicts it I guess.

To wit, when I click on the triple horizontal bars, I get a menu per the attached image. "Help" takes one to https://support.google.com/keep/ which has no "Feedback" option there either.

Hi there -

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! I'm able to see the Feedback option in the menu when I access Keep from my gmail account. Can you try clearing your cache or trying another browser and let me know if that makes a difference for you? In any case, I've passed this on to the team.

Thanks for your patience!
Abby

Hi Abby,

It works fine in Chrome itself, but what I am trying to report is the official Keep *App* from the Chrome App Store. I wonder if the word "App" wasn't clear enough when i tried reporting this before, and now.

Got it - Thanks for the clarification! For the time being, please submit feedback view keep.google.com. I've shared this with the team.

Thanks Rick!

a way to sort by "Recent" would help someone with a ton of notes like me

Levels

Member levels indicate a user's level of participation in a forum. The greater the participation, the higher the level. Everyone starts at level 1 and can rise to level 10. These activities can increase your level in a forum:

  • Post an answer.
  • Having your answer selected as the best answer.
  • Having your post rated as helpful.
  • Vote up a post.
  • Correctly mark a topic or post as abuse.

Having a post marked and removed as abuse will slow a user's advance in levels.
