How to switch back to old google forms

I love the old way  much better I didn't mean to switch to this new one were I Can't even veiw my responses

**Updated**
To go back to the old forms:

(located at the bottom right of the screen)


  • Look at the bottom right hand side of your screen
  • Look for the Question mark (image Above)
  • Click "Back to the old forms" which also contains the 'running man' next to it
Running man greyed out

Some people have experienced the Running man Greyed out. If you are in 'Quiz Mode' then you will need to exit the mode in order to change back. If you are still experiencing the running man (greyed) Try following these simple steps.

  • Clear your cookies and cache 

  • Try Incognito 

  • Disable extensions

  • try disabling hardware acceleration via your chrome settings
    - Open your Chrome settings
    - Click "Show advanced settings"
    - Uncheck "Hardware Acceleration" 
Running man not taking you back to the old google forms:

Some people have experiened the Running man not greyed out, yet when selecting 'Go back to the old google forms' they stay in the new google forms.
This is a bug that was recently found and the team is aware of the issue.

To fix the issue please do the following:

  • Enable the feature 'Collect email' which can be found in the settings
  • Save
  • Then uncheck "Collect email"

If you want to return to the new Google forms:



*note* you must be in the old google forms in order to see this

  • Look at the top of your screen 
  • Find the purple bar with text saying "Try the new Google Forms" (image above)
  • Click the text to return to the new Google Forms

Alternatively you can add ?uiv=0 at the end to switch using the address bar.

Bless you . . . I accidentally got onto the new form, too, & had NO idea how to fix it!  I may dabble with it this summer. but it was NOT a good idea for me to change in mid-school year :D

I'd suggest an icon explnation by the running man that does not have to be scrolled over if you want to make the option of changing back to the old form very clear.  (Although I think I now get the icon . . .  leave this form?)

I had to switch back too. I noticed that the multiple choice options seem to have a character limit in the new version. Is this true?
