Why has Google docs deleted my document?

my colleagues and i are working on a very important document for our college course and whilst we were working on it, the system has kicked us out of it and deleted it, there was never a reason given to us and would really like any information on why it has been deleted or how to get it back?

We have the same problem over here. Something with failing to comply with Terms of Service?

yes we had a brief message something like that, for inappropriate content or something? which is total nonsense as we are doing college work

I got the exact same error now. When I logged back in, the doc had disappeared.

Please explain how to request a review of a violation if WE DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO THE DOCUMENT in question!
The instructions state

1. Open the file.
2. Click Share.
3. Click Request a review.

How on earth did this implementation pass testing? Didn't anyone see that the instructions only work for documents not yet flagged for violation of terms?

What, you think Google actually *TESTS* their products before they release them???   HAH, not from what I've seen.  If they *are* testing, their test team isn't very good.  They certainly have no concept of "usability".
