Formula for latitude and longitude in google sheets (newbie)

I know that the formula =IMPORTXML("http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/elevation/xml?locations=" &B1& "," &C1,"//ElevationResponse/result/elevation")

Will give me the elevation of latitude B1 and longitude C1.

What formula will give me the latitude and longitude of a location "A1"?

Hi Reginald,

Can you try:

=IMPORTXML("http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/geocode/xml?address="&A1, "/GeocodeResponse//location")
