RANDARRAY function

The RANDARRAY function generates an array of random numbers between 0 and 1. The size of the array is determined by the provided rows and columns arguments.

Parts of a RANDARRAY function

RANDARRAY(rows, columns)

Part Description
rows The number of rows to return [optional]. Must be specified if columns is specified.
columns The number of columns to return [optional].

Notes

  • If rows and columns are omitted, RANDARRAY returns a 1x1 sized grid.
  • Like the RAND function, pressing enter will cause RANDARRAY’s results to update.
