Add & use checkboxes
You can add checkboxes to cells in a spreadsheet. Use checkboxes for many purposes, like to track a project, take attendance, and check off your to-do list.
- On your Android device, open a spreadsheet in the Google Sheets app.
- Select the cells you want to have checkboxes.
- At the top right, tap More Data validation.
- In the list under "Criteria," tap Checkbox.
