If you aren't connected to the internet, you can still create, view, and edit files on:

  • Google Docs
  • Google Sheets
  • Google Slides

Make recent files available offline

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides app.
  2. Tap Menu Menu and then Settings.
  3. Turn on Make recent files available offline

Make specific files available offline 

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google DocsSheets, or Slides app.
  2. Next to the file, tap More More.
  3. To save a file offline, tap Make available offline.

Find files you saved for offline access

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google DocsSheets, or Slides app.
  2. Tap Menu Menu  and then Offline
  3. Select your file.
