You can crop, mask, and add borders to images you have added to Google Docs, Slides, and Vids.
To adjust image colors in Google Docs or Slides, go to docs.google.com or slides.google.com on a computer.
Important: On your mobile device, you can use a web browser to access Google Vids. You can watch processed videos, but you can’t edit videos on mobile.
Resize or rotate an image
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Docs app or Google Slides app.
- Open a document or presentation.
- In Google Docs, tap More turn on Print Layout.
- Tap the image you want to adjust.
- You can adjust the size of an image or rotate it:
- Resize: Touch and drag the squares along the edges.
- Rotate: Touch and drag the circle attached to the image.
Add a border to an image
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Docs app or Google Slides app.
- Open a document or presentation.
- Tap the image you want to add a border to.
- Tap Format .
- Choose a line color, weight, and dash.
Reset an image in Google Docs
If you want to undo the changes you made to your image:
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Docs app.
- Open a document.
- Tap the image you want to reset.
- Tap Format .
- Under "Image," tap Reset image.
To reset images in Google Slides, go to slides.google.com on a computer.
Crop or mask an image in Google Slides
To trim the edges of an image or fit an image into a shape, crop or mask the image.
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Slides app.
- Open a presentation.
- Tap the image you want to crop or mask.
- Tap Crop .
- To crop the image, touch and drag the border.
- To mask the image, tap Mask tap the shape you want. The shape will cover your image. To adjust your shape, touch and drag the border.
