Send your form to respondents

When you've completed a form, you can share it through email or social media, or by embedding the form into a webpage.

Send a form

New Google Forms (No "File" menu at top)

Email a form

  1. Open the form.
  2. In the top right, click Send.
  3. Add the email addresses you want to send the form to, along with the email subject and message.
  4. Click Send.

Get a link to a form

If you want to share a form through a chat or email message, you can get a link to the form.

  1. Open the form.
  2. In the top right, click Send.
  3. At the top of the window, click the Link icon .
  4. To copy the link that appears, click Copy and enter Ctrl + C (Cmd + C on a Mac) on your keyboard.

Share a form on social media

  1. Open the file.
  2. In the top right, click Send.
  3. Choose any of the Google+, Twitter, or Facebook icons.
  4. Follow the instructions to share the form.

Embed a form on a website or blog

  1. Open the form.
  2. In the top right, click Send.
  3. At the top of the window, click the Embed icon .
  4. To copy the HTML that appears, click Copy.
  5. Paste the HTML into your website or blog.

  3. Under "Link to share," copy the URL that appears and paste it into your message.

  2. In the top right, click Send form.
  3. Choose any of the Google+, Twitter, or Facebook icons.
  4. Follow the instructions to share the form.

Embed a form on a website or blog

  1. Open the form.
  2. In the top right, click Send form.
  3. CIick Embed.
  4. Paste the HTML into your website or blog.

Confirmation page settings

Before you send your form, you can choose what users can do after they submit their response.

  1. Open a form.
  2. At the top, click the Settings icon .
  3. Check the boxes if you want to allow respondents to take the following actions after filling out the form:
    • Submit another response: Allows users to submit as many form responses as they'd like.
    • Edit their response: Allows respondents to change their answers to your form.
    • See summary of responses: Shows a link to the results of this form
  4. Click Save.

To change the confirmation message users will see, type your own message under "Message for respondents."

  1. Open a form.
  2. At the bottom of the form, check the boxes if you want to allow respondents to see the following links after filling out the form:
    • Show link to submit another response: Allows users to submit as many form responses as they'd like.
    • Publish and show a link to the results of this form: Gives respondents a summary of responses.
    • Allow responders to edit responses after submitting: Allows respondents to change their answers to your form.
  3. To change the confirmation message users will see, type your own message in the "Confirmation message" box.
