Present slides

You can present Google Slides so they show on a full screen.

Full-screen presentations work from a computer, mobile device, or TV with Chromecast or AirPlay. You can even accept audience questions while you present.

View a presentation

  1. On your Android device, open a presentation in the Google Slides app.
  2. At the top, tap Present Play and then Present on this device.
  3. To change slides, swipe left or right.
  4. To exit, tap the Back arrow Back.

Present using Chromecast or Hangouts

You can present slides on your television with Google Cast, or in a video call with Google Hangouts.

Chromecast
  1. On your Android device, connect to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast.
  2. Open a presentation in the Google Slides app.
  3. Tap Cast Cast.
  4. To change slides, swipe right or left.
    • Control the volume with your device’s volume buttons.
    • To show or hide your speaker notes, tap Speaker notes .
  5. To stop casting, tap Close Close.

Note: Presenting Google Slides doesn't work in Chromecast guest mode.

Google Hangouts
  1. On your Android device, open a presentation in the Google Slides app.
  2. Tap Present Play. Choose where you want to present.
  3. Tap Present.
  4. To exit, at the top, tap Close Close.

Control your presentation with Wear OS by Google

You can control your presentation from a Wear OS watch that’s connected to your Android phone.

  1. On your Android phone, open a presentation in the Google Slides app.
  2. On your watch, tap the notification to open the Google Slides app.
  3. To change slides, swipe left or right on your watch.
