Generate audio with Gemini in Google Docs

You can use audio generation with Gemini to:

• Listen to audio versions of your document tabs.
• Add audio buttons to documents.

Use Gemini to listen to your documents

1. On your computer, open a document in Google Docs.
   • Your document should have content before you can generate audio.
2. To generate audio, you can:
   • At the top, click Tools Audio Listen to this tab .
     • Or, in the toolbar, click Listen to this tab .
3. To insert an audio button or add an audio chip:
   • Insert an audio button:
     1. At the top, click Insert Audio buttons Listen to tab .
     2. Click the inserted button.
   • Add an audio chip in your selected section:
     1. Select the section you want to add an audio chip.
     2. Enter @.
     3. Select Listen to tab.
     4. Click the inserted button.
4. You can change the speed and the voice of the audio with the audio player.
   • To change the speed, click Playback speed Choose the speed.
   • To change the voice, click More Change voice .
     1. You can preview and select a voice:
        • Narrator
        • Educator
        • Teacher
        • Persuader
        • Explainer
        • Coach
        • Motivator
     2. Click Select.

Tips:

• You can pause, resume, and check how long it takes to read the entire doc.
• You can move the audio player around the screen.
• You can edit the labels of the audio button.
• You can edit the size and color of the button.

1. In the audio player, click More Useful audio or Not useful audio .
2. If you click Not useful audio :
   1. Select the issue you found.
   2. Enter additional feedback.
3. Click Submit.
