Copy and paste text and images

You can copy and paste text and images between your files – even if you're going from one type of file to another.

Copy and paste in Google Docs, Sheets or Slides

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open a file in the Google Docs, Sheets or Slides app.

  2. Docs only: Tap Edit Edit.
  3. Select what you want to copy.
  4. Tap Copy.
  5. Tap where you want to paste.
  6. Tap Paste.
