Print a document, spreadsheet, or presentation
You can print Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides using browsers, like Chrome or Safari.
Print in Chrome
Print a document
- On your computer, open a document in Google Docs.
- Click File
Print.
- In the window that opens, choose your print settings.
- Click Print.
Print a spreadsheet
- On your computer, open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets.
- Click File
Print.
- Optional: Choose your print settings, like margins or page orientation.
- Click Next.
- In the window that opens, choose your print settings.
- Click Print.
Print a presentation
- On your computer, open a presentation in Google Slides.
- Click File.
- Print without changes: Click Print.
- Adjust orientation: Click Print settings and preview
in the toolbar, click Handout
Landscape.
- Print with speaker notes: Click Print settings and preview
In the toolbar, click 1 slide with notes.
- Click Print.
- In the window that opens, choose your print settings.
- Click Print.
Print in Firefox or Safari
Print your file as a PDF
- On your computer, open the document, presentation, or spreadsheet you want to print.
- Click File
Print.
- Document or Presentation: A PDF file will automatically download.
- Spreadsheet: In the window that opens, choose your print settings.
Click Next. A PDF file will automatically download.
- When the download completes, open the file.
- In your PDF viewer, go to File
Print.
- In the window that opens, choose your print settings.
- Click Print.
Print your file in another file format
- On your computer, open the document, spreadsheet, or presentation you want to print.
- Click File
Download as.
- Select the file format you want.
- Find the downloaded file on your computer, and open it.
- Print the downloaded file.
