In Google Docs, Sheets and Slides, you can use the tool finder at the top left of the screen to:
- Find menu items and tools.
- View recommended actions. These can include recent actions that you took in the document.
- Get suggestions for related actions as you type.
- Activate find and replace after you have entered content from your document.
Find tools and features
To find tools, you can either:
- In the toolbar at the top of the screen, click Search .
- To use a keyboard shortcut, press the following keys together:
- PC: The Alt and / keys
- Mac: The Option and / keys
- ChromeOS: The Alt and / keys
