You can add links, numbered lists and bulleted lists to the text in your form. You can also bold, italicise and underline your text.
Important: you can only format the text in titles, questions and descriptions. You can't format answer options.
Bold, italicise or underline text- On your computer, open a form in Google Forms.
- Click the item that you want to edit.
- Select the text that you want to change.
- Format the text.
- To bold: click Bold

- To italicise: click Italic
.
- To underline: click Underline
.
- To bold: click Bold
- On your computer, open a form in Google Forms.
- Click the description where you want to add a list.
- Choose a list:
- To add a numbered list: click Numbered list
.
- To add a bulleted list: click Bulleted list
.
- To add a numbered list: click Numbered list
- If you can't find the option, click More
Description.
Add a link
- On your computer, open a form in Google Forms.
- Click the item that you want to edit.
- Click where you want the link or select the text that you want to link.
- Click Insert link

- Under 'Link to', enter a URL or email address or search for a website.
- Click OK.
Change or remove links
- On your computer, open a form in Google Forms.
- Click the link that you want to update.
- To change: click Edit link
.
- To remove: click Remove link
.
- To change: click Edit link
- On your computer, open a form in Google Forms.
- Click the item that you want to edit.
- Select the text that you want to change.
- Click Remove formatting
.
