Makegoods for Programmatic Guaranteed deals

If a Programmatic Guaranteed deal does not meet the originally agreed-upon terms or performance, you or the publisher can choose to request/create a Makegood on that deal. Once you and the publisher have agreed to the terms of the Makegood, you can accept and configure it like you would a typical Programmatic Guaranteed deal.

As Makegoods have the full functionality of a regular Programmatic Guaranteed deal, they carry programmatic fees for both you and the publisher. The CPM is carried over from the original deal for the purposes of calculating the Makegoods fees. Aside from the programmatic fees, you will not be charged for the impressions delivered on a Makegood deal.

  3. From the panel on the right, review and confirm the details of the Makegood. Makegoods are shown below the original deal highlighted in blue and labeled as “Makegood” under the Media cost type column. Note the following:

    • Potential Guaranteed Volume: Calculated by including the volume from the original deal + the volume from the Makegood.

    • Potential Media Cost: You will not be charged an additional media cost for Makegoods, only for the original deal.

    • Potential Total Billable Cost: This is calculated by subtracting the media cost of the Makegood from the billable cost of the original deal.

  4. Click Accept.

    • Click Reply to make changes to the Makegood.

  5. Click Configure to start configuring the Makegood like you would with any Programmatic Guaranteed deal. Learn more about configuring Programmatic Guaranteed deals
