Guaranteed packages

Requesting guaranteed packages

A guaranteed package is a faster, simpler way for you to negotiate guaranteed deals. Rather than waiting for the seller's response like in a traditional deal, agreements are made in advance between you and Google and then Google is responsible for delivering the guaranteed inventory. Quotes are automatically generated by Google, allowing deals to be finalized within minutes.

Note that you can only request a guaranteed package if you are a “partner-level” user.

To request a guaranteed package:

  1. Sign in to your Display & Video 360 account and click Inventory in the left menu and select Negotiations.
  2. Click the Request a guaranteed package button.
  3. The "Request a Guaranteed Package" window appears. Fill out the form with your desired specifications and click Continue.

Configuring your deal

After you have accepted the quote or if you are returning to setup from the "My Inventory" page, you can begin configuring your deal.

Basic details

The advertiser you entered in step 3 of "Requesting guaranteed packages" above will be shown here. This is where Display & Video 360 will automatically traffic the default insertion order. Click Next to continue.

Choose creatives

The next step is to select at least one available creative for each of the product sizes/durations. When you have selected one or more creatives for each size/duration, click Next to continue.

Additional settings (Optional)

On the final page, you can select and adjust the following:

  • Conversion tracking
  • Partner revenue model

When you have made all of your choices, click Done. Your deal now appears on the "My Inventory" page.

Editing advertisers

Click on a deal in the "My Inventory" page to edit advertisers attached to it. If you change the default advertiser you will need to choose creatives and a revenue model for the new advertiser. Inventory will stop serving (in up to 1 hour) for advertisers you remove. You can only edit a deal if you have access to all of the advertisers attached to it.
