Ads Creative Studio is a web app for creative production. If your creative team uses Ads Creative Studio, they can link their account to your Display & Video 360 advertiser. After you approve the link request, they can send creatives directly to your advertiser.
Benefits
Linking accounts saves you time when delivering creative assets. You no longer have to email them or upload and download them from a shared file server.
Permissions
- Linked Ads Creative Studio accounts can send creatives to your Display & Video 360 advertiser at any time.
- Linked Ads Creative Studio accounts cannot overwrite creatives or access your Display & Video 360 account.
Supported creative formats
Currently Ads Creative Studio users can only export non-dynamic versions of the following formats:
- Cuecard, Blank slate, Panorama
- Swirl
- Parallax
- Rich media banner
- Rich media banner with video
Customizable (formerly known as dynamic) formats cannot be exported to Display & Video 360 yet. More formats will be available later this year.
Before you get started
Currently, only an Ads Creative Studio user can request a link between Ads Creative Studio and Display & Video 360. Before they can request a link, you'll need to send them your Display & Video 360 advertiser ID.
Approve an Ads Creative Studio link request
When an Ads Creative Studio account sends a request to link to your Display & Video 360 advertiser, you'll receive an email notifying you of the request. Open the email and follow the instructions to review and approve the request.
- Find and open the link request email. It will have a subject line similar to: "Link requested between Ads Creative Studio account (Account Name) and your Display & Video 360 advertiser". Instead of "(Account Name)", you'll see the name of the Ads Creative Studio account.
- Click View linked accounts. This will open your advertiser's Linked Accounts page.
- Click Approval needed to show only pending link requests.
- Select the request you want to approve, then click Approve.
The Ads Creative Studio account will now be able to export creatives to your advertiser. You can identify creatives from Ads Creative Studio by checking the authoring source in your advertiser's creative list or in a creative's creative status page.
Reject an Ads Creative Studio link request
If you get a request to link an Ads Creative Studio account that you don't want to approve, you can reject it.
- Open your advertiser in Display & Video 360.
- In the left menu, select Linked Accounts.
- In the linked products list, find Ads Creative Studio. Click Manage.
- Click Approval needed to show only pending link requests.
- Select the request you want to reject, then click Reject.
Unlink an Ads Creative Studio account
If you no longer want an Ads Creative Studio account to export creatives to your advertiser, you can unlink the account.
- Open your advertiser in Display & Video 360.
- In the left menu, select Linked Accounts.
- In the linked products list, find Ads Creative Studio. Click Manage.
- Click Completed to show only active links.
- Select the account you want to unlink, then click Unlink.
The account will no longer be able to export creatives to your advertiser.
Find creatives from Ads Creative Studio
In your advertiser's creative list
- Open your advertiser in Display & Video 360.
- In the left menu, click Creative
Creatives. You'll be taken to the list of creatives in your advertiser.
- Find the Authoring source column. On a small monitor, you may need to scroll to the bottom of the page and then scroll to the right. You'll find "Ads Creative Studio" in the column if the creative was exported from there.
In a creative
- Open the creative.
- Click Creative status.
- Find the Authoring source in the Creative summary section. You'll find "Ads Creative Studio" if the creative was exported from there.
