Values for bulk upload

As of April 2016, "Target platform" and "Mobile platform" are no longer available as bulk upload criteria, as these targeting criteria were already deprecated from the user interface. Do not include these columns in your bulk upload files.

With a properly-formatted CSV file, you can bulk upload ad units with the values listed below.

Column Column name Description
A Name* Ad unit name. For each ad unit, choose a unique, descriptive name that conveys context (example: MyCompany_HelpCenter_FAQs_Top_728x90). The name must be 100 characters or fewer.
B Size* Ad unit size. Use a standard ad unit size to enable an ad unit for AdSense. Otherwise, any size is acceptable.
C Description Assign descriptions to help distinguish between ad units. The description must be 4000 characters or fewer.
D Enabled for AdSense Assign TRUE to allow AdSense to maximize revenue automatically for your unsold and non-guaranteed inventory.

If you enable AdSense, you can enter values for columns E through I. To apply default AdSense settings, leave columns E through I blank.
E Border color Complete this column if you enabled AdSense in column D
F Title color Complete this column if you enabled AdSense in column D
G Background color Complete this column if you enabled AdSense in column D
H Text color Complete this column if you enabled AdSense in column D
I URL color Complete this column if you enabled AdSense in column D
J Placements To assign the ad unit to a placement, enter the placement name here. The placement name must be 255 characters or fewer.
K Target window Assign _top to load the target URL in the full body of the window. Assign _blank to load the target URL in a new, unnamed window.

This column doesn't affect mobile ad units. If you specify mobile as the target platform in column M, leave this column blank.
L Ad type For AdSense only. Options include text or image.
