Display creatives

When creating or editing a line item, you have the option to set how many of its creatives can be displayed on a given page. Each of a line item's creative is only once per page. If you want the same creative to appear more than once per page, you must add multiple instances of that creative to a line item.

Use the Display creatives line item setting to customize how DFP displays a line item's creatives:

  • Only one: Only one creative associated with this line item appears per page. Once the ad server has served that creative, it doesn't serve any other creatives from this line item. This option is useful if your creatives are similar to one another.
  • One or more: Multiple creatives associated with this line item can appear together on a page. Any number of creatives can serve to a user on a single page load: just one, a subset of the creatives, or all creatives. This is the default selection.
  • As many as possible: Prioritizes creatives associated with this line item to appear together on a page.
  • All: All creatives associated with this line item appear together on a page, or the line item cannot serve. This setting requires Google Publisher Tags using single-request mode. If another tag type requests this line item, the "As many as possible" setting is used.
Only use As many as possible or All for line items with multiple active creatives. These line items will only be delivered if one of its creatives is served to the first matching ad slot on a page and Ad Exchange line items do not compete against them. Learn more about roadblocks
